Com o fim do Rage Against the Machine, o núcleo musical da banda (Tom Morello , Tim Commerford e Brad Wilk) se juntou ao Ex.Soundgarden (Chris Cornell), fazendo do Audioslave um supermega grupo, que como se previa durou pouco.
Ícone do rock argentino, o cara nascido na Itália teve carreira no Brasil tocando com o Joelho de Porco no fim dos anos 70, após ter montado na Argentina o incrível combo La Pesada Del Rock, que com formação anárquica teve diversos músicos em sua formação. Comparece no Vishows com sonzeira de 1972 - "La maldita máquina de matar". Atualmente residindo no Brasil, é produtor teatral de sucesso com montagens como A bela e a fera.
Seguimos com CSNY, os caras já eram grandes quando se juntaram como Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young no final dos anos 60, e foram artífices do movimento hippie e da contra cultura, a letra da canção “Almost cut my hair” é emblemática para a época.
A longa carreira dos caras sempre se cruzam com os projetos pessoais dos 4 componentes, mas continuam por aí, e incomodando como sempre os políticos como se viu na última campanha presidencial americana, onde atormentaram os republicanos como sempre. CSN&Y são David Crosby , Stephen Stills, Graham Nash e Neil Young.
Indo para o Brasil do final dos anos 60 o grande Gilberto Gil e Os Mutantes , juntos com "Domingo no Parque".
No tropicalismo, o grande Gilberto Gil, se uniu aos Mutantes com Rita Lee, Sérgio Dias Baptista e Arnaldo Dias Baptista, juntos se apresentaram e se consagraram com essa música incrível juntando Beatles fase psicodélica com o ritmo do nordeste brasileiro.
Na Califórnia houve época, onde RHCP e Janes Addiction, brigavam para ver qual a banda era mais freak e autêntica. Em cada momento uma das formações se mostrava mais perto de estourar, e essa competição acabou ajudando na consolidação dos grupos e dos seus estilos. Após o fim do Janes e tragédias pessoais do Red Hot, o que muitos sonhavam rolou, e Dave Navarro se integrou aos Peppers, trazendo seu peso e androgenia para os caras.
Durou pouco mas criou o grande álbum One Hot Minute. A convivência manteve as bandas próximas, e em algumas re-encarnações do Janes Addiction a mesma contou com o auxílio luxuoso do Pepper Flea.
